I was thinking to create some controversial type of site or blog, maybe something about Flat Earth or something, and then use programs to get a ton of traffic.

The part I am having a hard time figuring out is how to MONETIZE the traffic. Google adsense won't approve my application, apparently you have to have had your blog up for 6 months before they will allow you to use Adsense.

So any other ad revenue services to use to monetize the traffic?

Do you have another site that is older? Once you get approved for one site you can add adsense to any other sites you own.

I had another blog, a blogspot blog, that posts pictures of women but they denied it for that one too, saying there is not enough text in articles. Google Adsense seems pretty difficult to get approved for, so I am looking for any other ad revenue options? CPA or something?

There are a lot of other ad networks other than adsense, you might try taking a look at them and see if one might be a better fit.

That is a bit odd, I do not remember it being hard to get approved but it has been years maybe Google has made it harder since then.

There are a large number of ad networks, it should not be all that hard to find one that fits your content and most of them probably pay better than adsense does anyway even if it is a bit of work to find one.

^^^ This, there are a large number of sites out there with iffy content that are running ads so  you should be able to find an ad network that will work. You might try looking at sites with similar content and see what ads they are running.

Did you ever have any luck finding an ad network that would work? I have a couple of ideas for somewhat questionable blogs but was having trouble figuring out a way to monetize them and did not really want to get them up and going unless I found a good way to do so.
