  1. Top Ranking Factors

Well said! You need to focus on 'on page' before starting your 'off page' SEO campaign.
  2. When I posted the last comment on this topic, I was speaking about the success of e-commerce sites. Exceptions are always there.
  3. Well, I simply typed 'women apparel' in Google search bar, and here are the links that appeared in top 3 positions: https://www.snapdeal.com/products/women-apparel http://www.shopclues.com/fashion/womens-apparel.html http://www.limeroad.com/women-clothing Only Snapdeal has a lengthy content. Not many site owners loose the ranking because of scarcity of content on their sites, although it is necessary to describe all about the products and services offered by them. What do you say?
  4. How do you decide that you have made right selection of sites for the purpose of posting ads? Do you consider relevance to the niche or just Google ranking?
  5. Well, many of them have voted for high authority over relevance. I value their opinion, because I am still learning.
  6. I No, I don't mean that you have missed out something, but I posted the same link merely for reference. To me, posting links on niche related site will be preferable than posting links on high authority sites with an entirely different niche.
  7. In my opinion, relevance and authority have equal significance. However, it is going to be tough to decide whether you like to post links on the relevant sites with low authority or irrelevant sites with high authority, as discussed by several people here at http://searchengineland.com/relevance-vs-authority-link-value-part-1-274270.
  8. Earlier, people used to upload lengthy pieces of content to describe their products or services, with the purpose of keyword stuffing. Now-a-days, trends have changed, and I can see that the text part of on most of the e-shops seldom exceed 4-5 lines. They want it to keep sharp and crisp.
  9. What do you mean by an unwanted page? Do you mean irrelevant page?
  10. Yes Yes, you are right, but I was speaking only about the methods discussed in the article (http://www.uklinkology.co.uk/white-hat-link-building-strategies/) as mentioned by Richard.
  11. Buddy, do you consider 'content based marketing' to be a black hat method? I am not speaking of trying something other than white hat technique.
  12. I have read the article carefully, and I would say that some white hat link building discussed by author are too time-consuming. Well, I would prefer content based marketing, as it provides better and quicker results.
  13. Very well said! I use Facebook for getting in touch with the people, which helps in maintaining long lasting business relationship. Yes, I do get orders directly from them, and not merely through Facebook, because Upwork and PeoplePerHour, Facebook is not a platform where freelancers like me can get paid after working for the customers. When someone asks for my services through Facebook, I stay in tune with him through Emails and Skype.
