  1. crating a good content will help more then you think, ask any good blogger. but thats not the main reason you should pay more attention to the content as you are not building your site to be a blogger. adding bigger amount of content that is ok, will help you rank your site on long tail keywords.
  2. google goes for the bigger network fishes, the ones that really spam the internet, not for at 20-30 site network
  3. 2. adding content at a regular base is great way to get longtail keyword traffic. 3. you can add blog comments as a nice diverse but i dont believe that this is what will boost your rank. try to get more quality links.
  4. eventually Google doesn't like any seo, they want the site to raise rank naturally by other people linking and recommending your site, so try not to think about the other competition as much, they pretty much as a fair players as you. you will find them in every niche. the only difference between you is the amount of risk vs results you are willing to take.
  5. You dont have to go for the highest keywords, just the lowest competition ones in compare to the number of searches.

    Getting to number 1

How did you know to spot them? I mean, how did you know they will help instead of hurt? There are so Many Spammy links out there...
  7. Nice, I am sure there are also word press plugins to help that, on the top of my head, "Pretty Link" so you can follow clicks and improve CTR
  8. You said that the competition is high right? then try going for long tails. For example, You said it has a blog in it, where you post travel guides. search for long tail keywords with nice amount of monthly searches, and low competitions, and post a guide including them.

What kind of links are considered "White Hat"?

expired domains and linking from them, a lot of domains you buy have natural high pr like hotels and band sites. Even thought Google doesn't likes it, its still as stable as any other whitehat way, I mean look at what happened to guest posting, it used to be really strong but now, its not as much... I guess the if you cut that option out, you should cut any other option, and just stick to high quality content and try to get links without ever building them.
  10. Hey guys, I am here to share with you a problem I had when I tried joining amazon affiliate program, and how I overcame it, hopfuly It will help you if you had it and never tried to fix it, or will try amazon associates in the future and know what to avoide off background I built a site, a large one that had lots of content in it, and already had a good ranking. It was not a small niche site. when I tried applying to Amazon, it seemed like everything was fine, they gave me temporary approval. They wrote that after they will finish reviewing my site I will get permanent access. At the time my amazon conversion rate was low, so I didn’t have sales yet, so a month passed, and I didn’t get any mail from them. After I got my first sale, at the same day I got a mail saying this "When reviewing a web site we look for a beneficial reason of why a customer would seek out your site, review the topic or content posted, and click over to Amazon.com. We want an Associate site to be one that adds a value to the customer experience by giving them insight on a subject or product they might not get by going straight to Amazon.com. A web site needs to show content that exemplifies these components when we evaluate your application." I can assure you guys, my content was in high quality and gave additional information to the visitors. So why didn't they approve? It seems that Amazon has to deal with a lot of sites that automatically copies Amazon products and place them in a nice theme, that looks nice, and by that simply "stealing" commissions. I bet that they didn’t even read the products info. But they sure saw that all the site is made as some sort of catalog, and didn’t like that. So What to do? First of all, don’t freak out, the decline is not permanent and has no Waiting time limit between your applications - "We invite you to reapply once your site displays content that will be of value to customers" Now here are the things you should and can do: magazine - all you gotta do is to make your site, look like you are not even that interested at referring the visitors, to amazon. That does not mean that you need to remove any amazon referral, simply add content that has nothing to do with selling. Like Magazine articles about your niche, "How To" articlas, or anything of that sort, and make sure it has its own category at the site, so its clear that your product reviews are just part of the site, and not its whole purpose. Add social media plugin – to make the site look like its not about just selling products. Add videos of your products from youtube – just to show your site offers true additional information.you can also add at the homepage "video of the week" and add video related to your site topic. Add comments – a site that looks like it really helped people, I got few natural comments so I didn’t have to add, but it's just helps to the general looks of the site. Improve your content – I also just to make sure everything goes correctly, improved my content quality, titles, organized paragraphs, placed pictures, etc.. I Hope the info helps you guys, have an awesome day Day

    Manual penalty and options

You can De-index the domain, and after you do, (it takes one or two months until it happens but after that you are as good as new) I dont know a lot about the process but you can find info about it.
  12. Don't buy likes, there are a lot of offers of "real likes" who usually end up as disappointment, it happened to me. try to get real like using Facebook ads like other here said, or go to someone who can do it for you, but someone that you can talk with on Skype, and have real communication, not from cheap shady offers.
  13. The link privacy, sounds nice, but if it prevents Majestics and such, you cant follow the needed metrics yourself. eventually you want to see if your trust flow or citation fell down or raised up...
  14. About Lower bounce rate, i think it does improve the ranking, mainly on big traffic sites, although its a minor factor and not a big one...
  15. yeah, it also looks more realistic if you have high PR inner pages don't you think? rather then one strong homepage
