I certainly trust Visa more than I do Paypal, so this looks like it has a lot of potential, I'll keep an eye out for the development of this.

dwolla and google checkout are both great paypal alternatives.. its just a shame they are not available in more countries

Hi Guys. It's good to see that a company has opened it's hands against paypal. I hope it provides quality Transactions and with less conversion interest rates so that people could gain a lot.

I think there is a lot of scope for companies like V.me even iin the field of online transactions as it opposes the great transaction giant Paypal. V.me can provide low currency conversion rates so that more customers sign into it for the optimum usage. I don't think Paypal will get afraid of small newcomer companies like V.me by Visa so soon.

Fingers crossed in time this does become a true alternative to paypal, sick and tired of being subjected to the mercy of paypal where at any moment they could well just suspend my account

Get a regular merchant account and you can accept CC's without using Paypal.
