UPDATE: 18 January 2013: Starting today there is a new set of qualifications for members wanting to submit a sales thead. You will need to been a member for 30 days and have 20 QUALITY POSTS......If you do not meet these qualifications your thread will not be approved.

When submitting a sales thread please make sure that you follow all the steps listed under The Process: farther down this post.

If you fail to follow the directions your thread will not be approved.

Before submitting a Classified Ad to Anna (Banner Ad Info is here), please make sure to read through all of the rules below:

    1. Classified advertisers (and buyers) are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, responsive and helpful manner.

All Classifieds MUST have a clear Refund Policy at the bottom of their Sales Letter before they will be allowed to go live.

Any Classifieds featuring a kind of 'Make Money Online' product or program MUST provide video proof of earnings from use of the product or program - not from sales of the product or program itself. Contact Anna if that is unclear.

    2. If you have a product or service that you think will be of interest to our community of backlinkers and Web entrepreneurs here, please submit your classified post to Anna at anna(at)terrykyle.net and she will review its suitability.

    3. To begin with, new Classified Ads will be $40 per month.

Here are our latest Google Analytics Traffic Stats:

Once your Classified Ad is approved, Anna will provide PayPal payment information and then your ad will go live shortly thereafter.

We try to go from submission to approval to payment to live within 24 hours of submission to anna(at)terrykyle.net and/or support(at)terrykyle.net

    4. A Classified Ad here is a great opportunity to build a long-term customer base, develop good word-of-mouth promotion and even find potential future business partners.

As such, advertisers are expected to treat their customers well. Any who fail to do so will have their ads removed from here. In the same way, abusive and unreasonable conduct by customers will be dealt with in a similarly direct way by the forum moderators.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

NOTE: Make sure you qualify for both time as a member and have 20 QUALITY POSTS. ONE LINE "ME TOO" POSTS DO NOT QUALIFY. YOUR POSTS MUST ADD SOMETHING TO THE FORUM. If you do not qualify your sales thread will NOT be approved.

    http://trafficplanet.com/pages/traffic-planet-classified-ad-info

The Process: (There have been a lot of threads submitted only following some of the steps. If you do not complete all six step do not wonder why your thread does not get approved.)

    (1) Create and test your service or product (obviously!)

    (2) Send an email to Richard at richard (at)terrykyle.net with "Sales Thread Approval" in the Subject line. Include both your forum name and the title of your sales thead.

    (3) Write your Sales Copy (WITH Refund Policy clearly stated)

    (4) Submit your Sales Copy to Anna via anna(at)terrykyle.net

    (5) If you have met the time and post qualifications and if Anna approves your sales copy she will provide you with a PayPal subscription link OR recommend changes that must be made

    (6) Once paid, the ad will be moderated live shortly afterwards

However, advertisers should NOT make junk posts just to push their ad back to the top or solicit others to make pointless posts to get an ad back to the top.

You must get approved and pay the monthly fee before you can have your blog commenting thread up in this section. Read Terry's thread carefully and there shouldn't be any problems.

    Hey Terry,

Do you think it would be possible to separate listing of HPBL networks from other link building services in the forum?
On BF there were so many HPBL networks in the classified section it was getting hard finding anything else.

Rather than having a same section for all. If possible please make an product section seperate from services section.

    Hi MJ,

I believe they are all services now but I am sure that will change over time. There are also not all that many threads to sift through but I am sure that will change as well.

Another type of thread that gets lost are the content sellers. I would say they generally make fewer sales and get pushed down quicker.

    Maybe

    Products
    Content
Services /Link building You might even split this one between selling links on your own sites (network type) and general link building.

I do know that forums that split the threads up a bit make it a bit easier to find a provider when you are looking for something specific.

As I am not selling anything here at this time I am looking at it from the buyers perspective.

Looking to get some Custom SEO work done? Need a part time VA that is already trained, ready to go and well supervised? Check out my Thread in the TP classified section.

Sometimes I have a link in my signature to a product. If I do assume it is an affiliate link and I might make a couple of bucks off it...................................

    3. To begin with, Classified Ads will be $10 per month. Though still new and relatively small, your ad will be reaching a very targeted group of SEO specialists and Internet Marketers.

    Hi Terry

Just to clarify, if I place an ad, I need to pay $10 a month? Wouldn't it be a one-time payment for an ad?

    Regards

Rather, there can be sub-forums for services selling, content selling, auctions etc, may be at a later date, but it is better to do this now rather than at a later date as it would be a herculean task to sift the threads.
