As long as the number of any ccTLD  stays below x% of total blogs, then allow all and  any I say.
BUT stipulation should be that all blog themes are in English, no non-English wording/navigation etc.
And it should be mandatory that a blog cannot use the default theme and the "Sample" page must be removed.. so says the Buzzbox blog nazi :)

Definitely seems like ALN has dropped back to 10 posts instead of 15, if the numbers on the backend can be trusted. I've never felt so much like a mushroom as I have with ALN... talk about kept in the dark

As you where, now all new posts show queued as 15. But all previous to that 10. Guess they were experimenting.

    I noticed that too.

Their scheduler is a POS and not working.

Also, heaps of my submissions from a few days ago havent gone live, yet ones ive done tonight are? I even questioned this, then they deleted like 20 articles without telling me which ones they were, and i still have the same issue.

Also not too bad day today from ALN only 2 de-indexed domains (Few)    that's just part of the mix! I've taken all my PR3 and above domains away from them now, and only ever add pr2's. It's just not worth loosing domains day after day ... I know i'm gonna get striked down for mentioning this however - in all my years doing SEO (2003) i have never, ever experienced a loss of so many domains over such a short space of time (1 month yes 30 days)  10+Pr5, 25 Pr4 - big mix of pr3 and 2's ... hey ho! it's off to another network we go!

(I use worldwide (USA / UK / AUS)  SEO hosting for all my domains and have privacy)

    BTW -
    - 3 x helpdesk emails sent
    - 2 x Maulana emails sent

    (48) hours later ... no response --- just an "aweber" auto "we are sorry, but mice have eaten our cables" or something ...

It's easy to make money -- it's a lot harder to run a successful business.

I'm pretty ticked about this right now;  just checked and 1 of my 3 sites in the network has been de-indexed.

Not to mention, that I've just checked my aln points and they are DEAD WRONG - am being cheating out of posting credits daily.... for who knows how long.  Yes, I verified the PR on the sites.

I did join the new network a few nights go and not sure whether I should just move entirely or not.  Have never found Maulana to be Mr. Communication but I've been w/ aln since the beginning.

I am getting really disappointed with how long ALN has had issues. Time is money, and well this seems to be dragging on for almost 2 weeks?! I have added 8 blogs to http://freebloglinks.net and am looking for other free blog networks to join as another supplement to ALN. Any recommendations?

Yes, Maulana should work harder, because the competition is growing, and users can migrate fast.

Can't ALN send us updates at least. The only update I got yesterday was that one of my blogs was deindexed and kicked out of the network. If only more people knew about the new network so we could get that one jump started. I'm moving half my blogs over there anyhow.

Wow there is a lot of negativity on this thread.  I realize that there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out, but for the most part from what I have seen they have always been diligent in responding to issues...albeit maybe not as fast as we'd like.  But seriously, this is a fairly new network that has grown leaps and bounds and in just a little time and naturally there are going to be some growing pains.

I for one am able to see that the pros of this network FAR outweigh the cons and I am confident that most of the wrinkles will likely be ironed out.  In the mean time, more free networks like ALN is a great idea. In fact, the more the merrier.  But ALN works to increase rankings, period... and to just jump ship on it would be completely ignorant IMO.

Their staff is keenly aware of the issues at hand and are working to correct them.  Regardless of their lack of communication, we do know that they are now working to put up new servers,  adding the scheduling features and fixing other kinks.  Remember that this isn't  a major corporation that we are dealing with and things aren't going to be fixed within minutes as soon as something goes wrong.  I'm sure their resources are limited, so I would encourage others to try and remain positive and patient.
Have you lost rankings? Sites de-indexed? I can get them all back...GUARANTEED! PM me for more info.

I agree with Internet Riches with most of what he said. I guess I just get ticked off when 2 weeks goes by and its still happening and its a paid service. Im sure they will fix it up soon and their new server should iron out most of their problems im sure.

Anyone seeing this.. articles newly submitted get a "rush" of posting in the first 24hrs, usually 5-7 posted, then they just stall for days. That what I'm seeing on my backend.

Hi, sorry for the lack of update. It's because we're busy fixing bugs and improving the sever performance.

However, I've some great news for you:
    - We've successfully moved Authority Link Network to a new dedicated server (much more powerful server)
    - We've reduced the posting rate of article to 10 per article (temporary, until this slow posting issue is fixed!)
    - We've updated the list of domains and removed all of the de-indexed domains and broken sites

Your old articles that got stuck will eventually getting posted in the next few days.
We're working to optimize the server config at the moment and will working to optimize the posting code after that.
    So no need to worries.

We will be also launching a new ALN thread on warrior forum so we can communicate much faster with our customers.
Expect this to be ready tonight ;)

I've had 2 ALN sites de indexed. Hasn't happened to me before. I'd just renewed them as well. I'm not going to add another blog to the network. The paid networks time and money keeping up to date on which sites are indexed and replacing those that aren't. ALN is expecting the members to keep adding blogs. It's not going to happen. This does not boude well for the network  in the short to medium term. I was a member of BLS and that went under because of too much bad content. I fear that ALN is going to go the same way. I'm not going to chance anymore blogs on it. I'd rather pay for BMR posts.

what an odd post, paying for BMR posts is more expensive than buying a couple of pr 3 domains...

Anyway, tons of BMR posts get deindexed, i should know, i kept track of all of mine from 6 months ago (hundreds) and the majority of them are now deindexed or pr0.

$100 per month on new domains would soon get you a very nice daily post allowance, and keep your backlinks topped up.

My average de-indexed rate is 10%, which is pretty much what ALN experiences, going by the before & after blog numbers after a clean-up. That's the cost of doing business.

BS.. takes all of 5 minutes to do an update. Is it too much to ask Maulana, that you keep you members up to date on a "regular", even daily basis when there's major issues ranging from deleted posts to server is offline. You still haven't clued up that this is the biggest gripe with ALN.. lack of timely & regular communication.

I sent Maulana this email: Hey!

When are you going to fix ALN? My live articles still are not being sent out? I am hoping ALN starts working again, soon. It used to be so good, now I am having to look for alternative networks.

    he replied with:
    Hi,

Please do not worry about it at the moment.
We're fixing this issue right now and your articles will eventually get posted in the next few days.

    Thanks,
    Maulana

EDIT: I noticed ALN is working MUCH MUCH better and there is an update on the dashboard.
