So what does the "smart" network owner do if the LINK ITSELF is the footprint. Unless the link wont even show up in Google and not getting indexed, there will always be the link itself serving as footprint. Don't spread little kid's fairytales there is some magic measure to prevent them finding the blogs, this is ridiculous.
The only way to keep the de-indexing ratio down would be greatly reduced distribution rate so that one "footprinted" article doesn't pop up in too many blogs at once, reduced number of people able to join..and general staying under the radar.
There are networks out there which survived, some high quality networks which distribute ONE article per day...by using a low/slow distribution rate LOGICALLY also reducing the statistical likelihood that many blogs are found out.
Do you know how many ****LOADS of articles i got every day when i had blogs in ALN? I got several dozens or more articles PER DAY.
Can we not finally let this idiotic "footprint" debate end - respective the tale of the "smart blog network owner" who somehow found the magic solution for the "footprints" not to appear?
You do not need your "network owner forgot to conceal the footprints" theory, you can use common sense and look which network is more likely to get de-indexed:
The network which has 50.000 blogs in it, distributing 30, 50, 100+ articles PER DAY per user...or the network with only 300 people where each article gets submitted once or twice? Now do the math WHICH network is more at risk and WHICH network might likely still be around next week.

Someone is actually smarter than I thought and finally agrees that there are TONS of networks out there surviving and there IS A WAY to prevent deindexing..well how about that?!?! Your starting to realize what is possible and how it is possible to protect your network!
For sure you need to just reject any spammy link footprints and deny anyone who wants to put links on a network that google will be able to see easily and know it as spam. yes less articles is better and will keep you under the radar. All common sense stuff and stuff any network owner could have done instead of getting greedy and letting anyone and everyone post whatever links they want to and however many times they want to and try to get away with that crap!
