Do you find it better to be very specific with your niche choice (will be using them for ALN)  or is broad ok?

If I had a site on adventure tours in Jamaica, would getting the articles about "tours in Jamaica" be better, or just "travel tours" or just "Jamaica" be ok?  I have a few sites that are related to each other, but each very specific in niche, wasn't sure if I could buy one broad niche for all of them to check it out or if that would be a Fail.

From our personal experience, content that is 'broadly' based on a topic, works just as well as content that is super targeted.
