Welcome To TrafficPlanet.com (& Why This Forum?)

As you may know, Tom Goodwin and I no longer work together and he still runs BacklinksForum.com.
It isn't my style to do public bitchiness so I'll just say that some business relationships don't work out and that was the case there.
So why have ANOTHER forum focused on SEO?
Traffic Planet will (hopefully) be different from other forums in 2 main ways:
THE BIG DIFFERENCES ON TRAFFIC PLANET?
(1) Just as BacklinksForum.som took SEO tactical discussion and innovation to - IMHO - a new level and moved the game on, I would like Traffic Planet to do that with CONVERSIONS and MONETIZATION, while still being at the forefront of what's working now in SEO
Every SEO guy and Internet Marketer struggles with converting or properly monetizing the traffic that they do get.
Everyone.
So here on Traffic Planet, we will have deep-dive tactical discussions and sharing about our best conversions and monetization techniques/tricks/insights, in addition to live experiments.
In a way, traffic WITHOUT conversions is pretty much pointless and we have all known the heartache of getting a site to rank for a high traffic keyword and then not found a way to make any CONSISTENT money from that traffic.
We all know that IM success is about Targeted Traffic + Optimized Conversions so let's take our communal knowledge to a much deeper and more effective level of expertise through our pooled wisdom and results.
So that's the first major difference with Traffic Planet: Conversions.
As yet, I don't see any IM or SEO forum (or any forum for that matter) moving the game significantly forward with deep-dive insights on Conversions but hopefully together, we can make Traffic Planet the place for basic/intermediate/advanced Conversion knowledge on the Web - all the while keeping our SEO best practice up to date so that we have the traffic flow to test conversions on.
Conversions/Monetization is a massively important (missing) piece of the Web Entrepreneurship puzzle that we can all help each other with here on Traffic Planet.
(2) Live SEO and Conversion Experiments.
Secondly, live SEO and Monetization experiments can be hugely beneficial so let's all set up and share our experiments here - for the benefit of our whole community.
Enjoy.

Good to see the forum up and running. Hopefully this will be a different ball game to BF and things work out good.

Lmao. I'm just happy to have another SEO forum. Hopefully it doesnt go over-run with 16yr old SEO Guru's. Nothing against 16yr olds, but it amazes me how some of these kids can discuss how much money they're bringing in inbetween homeroom and lunch period.
