*** UPDATE: PRDROP.INFO HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH ALL SUGGESTIONS AND IS NOW FREE TO USE. THANKS FOR ALL OF THE ADVICE FROM ALL YOU GUYS AND I HAVE NOW DECIDED NOT TO CHARGE A SUBSCRIPTION AND TO INSTEAD OFFER ITS USE FOR FREE  ***

    Hi guys,

Please check my new domain and comment if possible:

    prdrop.info

Myself and a programmer have just finished building my Godaddy Pagerank, MozRank, Page and Domain Authority online scraper.  This has now been uploaded to my server.

Will be looking to charge $5 to $7 a month subscription for the service hopefully.  ***NOT ANYMORE!!! FREE TO USE FOR EVERYBODY***

The scraper will list the last 7 days worth of  expiring domains at Godaddy Auctions, grading them into PageRank. Added to this are all of SeoMoz functions - backlinks, Page and Domain Authority (with and without www.), as well as MozRank.

*** Under each column name there is a box named "filter". Here you can filter the listing. So, with PR you can just type in 5 and hit enter and only PR5's will be shown. Same with the Domain column - if you put in a keyword it will just show domains including the keyword, or if you type com, info, org etc it will just show the chosen domain extension. ***

So far, these above functions work.

However there are a few bugs:
    - The fake Pagerank option doesnt work well at all. We will be changing this so that you can click on the domain name and it will open as info:domain.com in Google search so you can check yourself.
    - Where N/A is shown concerning the Backlinks column. This can be reloaded if you click on the N/A.
    - Concerning the Backlink column, this is again taken from SeoMoz. There needs to be a column for the domain with and without www., since on checking the backlink results are also affected in this way.
    - Will also be looking at installing a domain Age column as well.

Please feel free to use the site and comment here on anything.

    *********************************************************************

Through more and more research into High PR networks and expiring domains, it would seem that Page and Domain Authority play a major role in the power of these domains. A lot of us here seem to agree that High PR domains with high PA and DA are the correct way forward. This is what this scraper is ideally for. I was originally just going to create a 3 column scraper with just PR, PA and DA but have added other bits as we have gone along.

    *********************************************************************

    ++++ UPDATES +++ :
Few really good suggestions so far:
    • Will definitely sort out Fake PR as stated earlier.
    • Will add an Age column
    • Will add a "Auction Price so far" column
    • Will make the filters all drop down menus - major issue because at present it doesnt allow you to filter the PA or DA.

    Like it, good work.

Will have a bit more of a play but the fake PR thing is a biggie!

You could do with a current auction price too. Oh and a way to filter on PR so I can look for PR5's ending soonest :)

This sounds like a great idea, will try it tonight.  Too often I want to buy high PR domains, but find the process of analyzing them for accuracy to be difficult.

My only suggestion would be to add SEMRush data. It's pretty much the main metric I check on RegisterCompass.

    Hi guys,
Yes - Fake PR is one of the main areas of interest here.
Also, really good idea about adding the Godaddy bid price as well - will definitely add that.

Forgot to add to the listing (will do it now) - under each column name there is a box named "filter". Here you can filter the listing. So, with PR you can just type in 5 and hit enter and only PR5's will be shown. Same with the Domain column - if you put in a keyword it will just show domains including the keyword, or if you type com, info, org etc it will just show the chosen domain extension.

Hi, Theres and option in the right hand corner to choose how many domains you'd like to see - you can choose as many as you like.

yes found that now, really nice tool. Why not add all filters to the drop down? Like moz rank, backlinks etc

Also PA needs to be from e.g 20. I am not a fan of putting in my own criteria, I prefer dropdowns, it saves the guessing.

Uhmm well it seems like a nice start. As for paying a fee? I wouldn't right now because it is still missing some features that free-to-use solutions have and the first that comes to mind is clicking on the domain to go straight to the auction. The fake domain checker would be nice, but as you said its easy enough to check once you quickly scan through and find a few domains worth purchasing. Also why no current bid price? Especially since you would have to go through the whole process of searching for the domain that you just saw on your service just to find out that that damn thing has some outlandish bid on it....

Anyways I think its a nice start....but since there is better free options, I dont think I would pay for the service as it stands right now.

Yes, Im with you there. Would be a lot better. Also, for some reason the filter doesnt work on the PA or DA. Seems that if you put in 20 (so that you are looking for a rating of 20+) all it does is search for exactly 20, which at present brings 0 resluts.
Thanks Mofoe, will add that to the list.

Yes I agree, as Fixer stated earlier in the thread, it definitely needs to show the auction price. Thats really important.
Im not too bothered about being able to click direct through though. This is what most of the free sites do because they get an affiliate fee for each domain clicked through and paid for. The click through takes 15+ seconds plus to load because of the affiliate link which annoys the hell out of me!!!

Anyway, more importantly, I havent found a free tool out there yet that gives all PA and DA results as well as PR - and these features are the angle Im aiming at here.

Well that is probably why I didnt see the value while others here have. I dont value what seomoz rates as their arbitrary value when buying domains. I do understand others believe in those values.

Anyways good luck with your application.

Looks good, wish you success with this.  One suggestion:  for the filter, can you add a greater than/less than functionality?  I want to be able to see domains with backlinks greater than 100 for example, PR > 1 and < 4, something like that.

Hi Geegeez, yes will definitely sort out the filter for each column so that you can choose different values.

    Hi Guys,

Please check out PRDROP.INFO again for the changes we've discussed and let me know what you think. Its rescraping now as we speak so it may take a couple of days to get up to the full amount - full amount is approx 1500+  PR1 to PR10 domains available every 7 days.

Ive sorted out the filter issues as suggested, aswell as sorting AGE and PRICE.
Also, if you click on the individual PR then it will open the command info:domain.com in a new window so you can check for fake PR.

Please take a look and let me know if it works for you.

    Hi everyone,

I have now taken on all suggestions - such as AGE and PRICE column as well as drop down filter menus - and decided to NOT charge a monthly subscription to PRDROP.INFO

This Godaddy Auctions Pagerank and Page Authority scraper is now FREE to use. I hope instead to build up enough of a following, plus push the website up the SERPS, to allow myself to put advertising or Adsnese on there to cover the costs.

Thank you to everyone for the advice and please put the site to some good use!!!

    Thanks
    Ringer
