Why do you use Freshdrop or Register Compass, etc instead of expireddomains

Hi guys,
Ive created prdrop.info and had planned to charge a monthly subscription, however after a bit of market research and some advice from you guys here, Ive decided to keep it free.
It only scrapes Godaddy Auctions at present, but offers something that most other scrapers dont which is Page Authority and Domain Authority for each domain.

great, just looking at the time ending and everything is 15 hours min. So I take it that it ignores PR zero domains and only focuses those with a min of pr1?

Hi,
Yes concerning the PR - Ive had it set to just search for PR1+. This was more to do with the amount of scraping needed for PA, DA, MozRank and backlinks. The scraping was all far more efficient and correct if scraped from a lesser pile, so we decided to cut out the PR0 instead.
Concerning no more high PR domains dropping for another 15 hours - I have only just reset the website and started it scraping for high PR domains again. It can take a day or 2 to rescrape all of Godaddy so should settle again soon. When fully scraped this should show approx 3000 domains, but at present is only showing 1500. I will keep an eye on that though over the next day. Once it has rescraped fully I wont need to reset again so should always be updated.

Alright I am going to give a really big helpful post. perhaps I should whisper this #whisper# Don't sort by pagerank. Sort by age and then peruse by number of backlinks. Find an old site with a fair amount of backlinks. You can tell by backlink profile that its not some spammed to death former IM site. Buy that and rebuild a few pages using internet archive. Just need page title and a few H1 tags. Then on the next PR update you will have whatever PR the site had before it expired. end#whisper#
