Sorry, I can't answer your first question but let me express my viewpoint on the second one.
If you're looking for an SEO money making tool, you should be ready to understand what SEO is about + make sure you set your expectations right.
Like there are no magic pills that can get your blood pressure back to normal if you’re extremely overweight, there’s no “SEO money making software” that will pull in cash as you click your mouse.
SEO + making money online is about:
- Strategic thinking
- Competition research
- Understanding on page and off page SEO best practices
- Crunching numbers
http://www.link-assistant.com/
Why? Because it gives you all you can take from SEO tools to succeed online, being awesome at keyword research, rank checks, backlink research and link building.
You can download free edition to see if it works for you - some functions are limited, but it still has a lot to offer.

It turned out that I forgot to pay my bills at Website Service Plus Lol. So they disabled my account and deleted my VPS. But I had a full backup on Dropbox!
Lessons learned:
1) pay your invoices in time.
2) Always have a backup (home computer + VPS).

Much better than thrust, I have 2008 but have no idea if it is r2 or not. I genearlly update it once a month when I remember. I do not let the updates happen automatically because I usually have something running all the time and do not need an update interfering with my bots.

That's what I'm doing. Though if you want to go straight to the source for a little less money just go to thrustvps.com (WSP is a reseller of thrustvps.)
I've heard a lot of bad things about Thrust, but it's been pretty stable and fast for me the past 6 months or so. The extra few bucks a month by going through Website Service Plus is worth it IMO. Their support is top-notch.

I found ClamWin, but it is useless unless you inspect every file manually with it, since it doesn't provide real-time, on demand protection.
Microsoft Security Essentials - it doesn't support Windows Server 2008.
The popular free antivirus products like AVG and Avira don't work on server either.
Maybe Malwarebytes?
Or is Windows Defender what I am looking for? http://linhost.info/2009/05/ask-the-admin-how-do-i-install-windows-defender-on-windows-server-2008/
Also I read that I can install Avira free edition on Windows Server 2008 by editing the registry: http://lexword.blogspot.com/2010/01/getting-avira-antivir-personal-free.html
So which one is recommended? Avira or Windows Defender, or other?

Also Hostamus has hidden whois, they also hide their company data and no phone number. Maybe they are just a reseller.

Hmm, pretty cheap. 1GB for $13 is a steal. Time to check out some reviews. I've been thinking about a 2nd 1GB VPS as opposed to bumping up my plan. This may be a good option.

How? If you check its system requirements, it doesn' support server editions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials/product-information?t1=sysreq

Looks like it may be against TOS to run it on 2008. But it does seem to run fine. (Though I run my IM apps through Sandboxie, so I haven't run into any virus issues.)

Thanks for the tip. I also managed to install Microsoft Security Essentials on Windows Server 2008 R2. I don't know why don't they mention in the system requirements that server editions are supported.
