I would love to get 500 AA but I'm nowhere near that at around 150 - 180. I've done lots of scraping and cleaning too but I end up hitting a wall, scraping lists full of the same old junk. I don't think I ever got 500 AA live links, even back in the day when it really did work well.

So, can we say AMR is useless?

Are you better off spending that money on outsourcing links?

I wouldn't say it was useless, just not as effective as it used to be. I find it great for tier 2 links. I submit 10 articles using 5 accounts which usually brings in around 1k tier 2 links. Definately not useless.

I agree with Neil - not quite what it was, but still useful. Even with the crazy google algo change that just occurred I have WEB 2.0 properties ranking solely from AMR and 1waylink.net that are doing great and in the top 5 in google for competative keywords. My authoity site with 100's of posts on a topic I am knoweldgeable about has dropped iquite a bit in rankings. Mostly from #1 and #2 slots to #10, but that another story.

Also keep in mind that AMR is a one of cost, so I don't agree that you are better of spending the money on outsourced articles. AMR can be used over and over, and with Captcha Sniper running costs are reduced.

Another thing to keep in mind is there is less incentive for people to run article directories these days, it used to be easy to stick one up and then accept stacks of content and make a bit of cash from them, not easy to do that now. This probably explains why there are less sites running that AMR can successfully submit too.

I was gonna throw in some 'AMR links' in the mix for tier 1.

For tier 2 I've been using SB, which I outsource.

Although, I've read somewhere that AMR is not advised for tier 1 anymore...

Anyway, thanks for the heads up.

While I use AMR quite a bit it is mostly for tier 2 & 3 pages. Adding some pages from article directories to your tier ones is fine but I would not recommend doing full blown AMR runs when building your tier one pages.

I've just bough AMR, and it's not looking good for me.

I imported a few lists, I got like 9k sites. out of that it did 544 successful submissions, and 131 live links (right after submission). :@

It took a lot of time to import those crappy lists, and then create accounts, then submit.

Not a good start for me, at this point I do regret buying it.

500+ successes is good. I've gotten and working back up to over 1k. (even as recent as last 4-5 weeks)

I use it for local kw's and it works like a charm for tier 1's.

AMR works great. It is harder to find auto-approve sites that are of any value but that has nothing to do with AMR. The software does what it is supposed to do pretty well. But if you add a ***** spun article that is mis-categorized to a site that does a manual review then don't expect to get a link.

I get about 191 AA Live links and 855 successful submissions. It took about 3 days non stop scraping just to get those lists but I guess it was worth it.
